Graeme and Sonia Watson engaged our team to design the Reception Building for their proposed Dry Snow Sports facility in Waroona, WA (approximately 1.5 hours south of Perth). The building will accommodate the business’s equipment rental service, café, and an alfresco seating area, as well as provide changing rooms, office space, and a party room.

We designed the interior of the Reception Building in close consultation with our clients, following extensive research of similar facilities in Europe. The exterior of the building will be constructed over a frames floor system with Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), and the external cladding will be Bluescope Colorbond Custom Orb and Scyon Matrix, utilizing the natural face of the Oriented Strand Board (OSB) internally. The roofing will be a mixture of SIPs and conventional roof construction.
