COTTESLOE RESIDENCE ADDITION

A complete renovation and rear pavilion addition to a tired art deco home, with the existing layout has been altered to provide a new open layout, allowing natural light to floor areas, such as the foyer, which was once dark and narrow.

A new kitchen and dining pavilion addition to the rear of the house has been designed for easy living and entertaining, with a full width bi-fold opening onto the garden, as well as clerestory louvre windows to all walls, allowing ample natural light and ventilation.

On the upper level, a new rooftop terrace replaces the existing flat roof over the living area, which provides a new viewing platform of the Indian Ocean.

The existing residence will be re-finished to match the natural colour scheme of the new works, including new stone pavers, concrete, timber, white weatherboards and white render.
